Selecting an educational program is one of the most important decisions parents make, and the process of visiting and considering schools can be demanding, and sometimes daunting, for both parents and children. I am here to help, and my goal is to make the process as painless as possible.
The most common points of entry to our program are Preschool, Kindergarten, and Sixth Grade, and our admissions information is tailored to these levels. We welcome applicants at any grade level, however, and we occasionally admit students after the school year has begun. If you have questions about the process for students entering lower or middle school at other grade levels or at non-standard times of the year, please feel free to contact me.
As you undertake the process of visiting schools, I encourage you to keep in mind two things. First, how well does each school’s program match your own values and goals for your child’s education? And second, how well does a given school’s program match your child as a learner? Sabot’s admission process is structured around a series of steps to help you answer these questions. Please note that there are some differences between the admissions processes for the Preschool, the Lower School (Kindergarten through Fifth Grade), and the Middle School (Sixth through Eighth Grade). Be sure to read the appropriate section for your child’s school level.
The first step for any grade is to set up a visit! Please contact me to arrange a time.
I hope we'll have an opportunity to meet!
Warm regards,Maggie Barrett
